Kristin was raised in an Army family, but hails mainly from Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from William and Mary, with a double major in Kinesiology and Psychology. She then earned a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Old Dominion University in 2000. After working for a year in a Women’s Health P.T. program in Northern Virginia, she relocated to Sarasota in 2001. Since that year, she has worked extensively in outpatient clinics, home health rehabilitation, in a local hospital, and has taught physical therapy at a college-level Physical Therapist Assistant program. She is experienced in evaluating and treating orthopedic and neurologic conditions, has worked with athletes of all ages, and after several years of training tested for and received her Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist designation from Maitland Australian Physiotherapy. She genuinely enjoys working with the “actively retired” population that Sarasota is famous for. Outside work she is kept busy with 3 teenage children and enjoys kayaking and rowing, reading and gardening.
